Let go of performance and let in prosperity.
– KEYS SOULCARE
“It’s important to love ourselves as we are! I turn to the idea of soulcare and caring for both the inside and outside of my body. When we start to care for our heart and soul, it also radiates through our skin and spirit.” — Alicia Keys
Self-care is so important, but we can still find ourselves stuck in a loop trying to look the part rather than live it.
In a recent interview with Oprah Daily, Alicia was asked what differentiates our offerings from others in the beauty and wellness space. Her response was simple but profound — and centered on the fact that Keys Soulcare is so much more than skin-deep. Rather than prioritizing selling products and perfection, our focus has always been about authentically caring for ourselves, inside and out, “flaws” and all.
Whatever the task at hand, intention can make simple moments more mindful and turn mundane endeavors into ceremony. Taking selfies can become a gratitude practice and a shower can cleanse your mind as well as your body. Creating these skin-soul connections are opportunities to generate your power, block out the noise, and get back what’s most important — yourself.
Need a gentle nudge when you inevitably find your way back into the loop? Stop and ask, How can I be more present? What do I need to do to care for myself right now? And then turn your answers into actions. There is nothing more beautiful than recognizing your own worth — and that’s the only “beauty standard” we’re more than happy to get behind.
