Online shops that give back and run their businesses with heart.
– KEYS SOULCARE
Nowadays, it’s easy to incorporate uplifting causes and ideas into our daily lives, from how we spend our free time to the businesses we patronize. Today, we’re wearing our hearts on our sleeves and sharing a few (very cool) tee lines that donate proceeds to great causes with every purchase.
Here are four we’re loving:
1. Phenomenal
Nearly every simply-sloganed design by entrepreneur (and Kamala Harris’ niece) Meena Harris doubles as a fundraising or awareness campaign. Highlights of the unisex line include “Phenomenally Asian” tees, which benefit The National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum. Harris also partnered with This Is About Humanity to create “Phenomenally Human” designs, which help route medical supplies to frontline workers and vulnerable families at the U.S.-Mexico border.
2. Otherwild
The queer-identified and woman-owned store is one of the coolest tee collections you’ll find on the web. (Or LA and NYC, if you happen to live near one of their bi-coastal boutiques.) Shop designs featuring artful illos of the current roster of women in congress, brilliant signature slogans like “Resist/Sister”, and more. One more thing to love? Proceeds from all sales fund their in-house Another Wild Fund grant for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) who identify as LGBTQIA and work in the design, wellness, or community organizing industries.

3. Da Spot
This Brooklyn-based boutique stocks original work by dozens of BIPOC artists. (Think of it as part-swag shop, part-art gallery.) From iconic Sade portraits to mirror-worthy mantras like “She Believed She Could, So She Did That Ish” and “Queens Empower Queens,” these pieces look as good with jeans and sneaks as they do with pantsuits and heels. Follow their inspo-filled Instagram account for limited edition collection drops, virtual creative business workshops, shopping pop-ups, and more.
4. The Bee & The Fox
Look to this line for 70’s-style tees with a serious point of view. In addition to sharing profits with all employees, the sustainably made, woman-run tee brand donates $500 or more to a different community cause each month. (Past campaigns include the NAACP, Warrior Women Project, and Equality Alliance.) Phrases like “Liberated Lady,” “Love Makes a Family,” and “Do No Harm… But Take No Sh!t” are as empowering as they are conversation-sparking.
We’d love to add more lines to our list! Share the cause-driven clothing brands you’re digging in the comments.
