How our intentions and words can create reality.
– KEYS SOULCARE
“It was Kerry who first opened my eyes to the power of words. ‘With my luck,’ I’d often say, ‘this will never work out.’ ‘Why do you always say that?’ he finally cut in. ‘It’s just a phrase,’ I insisted, shrugging it off. Growing up, I’d heard my mother use that phrase repeatedly, and I’d adopted it. ‘You should stop saying that,’ Kerry told me. It might have seemed like a joke, he explained, but it was actually a reflection of my belief: that things would always turn out badly for me. That I was doomed, no matter what. That my so-called luck would always be unfavorable. And by putting those words out there, I was attracting the energy of failure.
What we repeat is who we ultimately become. I banned ‘with my luck’ from my vocabulary.”
— Alicia Keys, More Myself
Our intentions, words, and actions create our reality. They get front row seats to our world view and prime real estate in our hearts. And in turn? What we repeat is ultimately what we become.
In this video, Alicia calls out how easy it is to get caught up in our heads with questions like, “Will this work out? What’s going to happen? What the f@!% is going on in this world?” (We know.) But it’s the words we feed back to ourselves that hold the most power of all.
That’s why our message for today is a simple one: make what you say count!
Let’s keep this convo going! What words and passages spark you up and put you in a positive state of mind?

Thank you so much for your message You are amazing! I really needed to hear that because I too have adopted that saying and my fiancé tells me all the time to stop assuming the worst all the time. When it comes to mind tell yourself nope this is going to go the way God wants it to go and I’m going to be okay with that. Refuse to believe in the negative thought and speak a positive thought and believe in it with all of your mind body and soul! Had to share to my Facebook family, keep the passages coming and I’ll keep the sharing right on! Thanks for being You Sincerely Sabrina

Wow ! That was amazing and so true. I myself have said negative things that we’re said to me through out my life that I repeatedly said to my own children. You just gave me a aha moment into myself so today I will do my best to remove the negative words I have learned to use in my life. Thank you for your positive reflection ❤️
