How long does the Sage + Oat Milk candle burn?
Our 7.5oz sage scented candle lasts up to 65 hours and our votive candles last up to 12 hours each.
What kind of wax is sage and oak candle made of?
Our Sage + Oat Milk candles are a soy and paraffin blend. The addition of a small amount of paraffin allows for a better burning experience.
Why should the wick be trimmed to a quarter inch and why burn it for only 4 to 5 hours?
A longer wick creates a larger flame, a larger flame melts the wax faster and the wax melts faster than the wick, so the flame gets larger as the candle burns down. Keeping the wick trimmed and burning 4-5 hours at a time slows everything down so you get to enjoy your candle for longer and more often will provide a deeper cleanse removing water-based debris like sweat and dirt without drying or stripping the skin.
Why is there black smoke burning from my candle?
When you don’t trim the candle wick to 1/4 inch before burning, soot may be created. Smoke is also created when candles are placed near a draft as this may cause the candle to burn unevenly.
Why does my candle form a tunnel when burning?
