Sadness is the soulcare to embrace for your next evolution.

“The greatest gift sadness gave me was the motivation to transform.” — Yung Pueblo
Let’s just be honest: Healing isn’t all love and light.
As much as we appreciate the joy of growth, the path toward our highest self isn’t always easy. Like all things in life, balance is required for peace. Sadness counters our happiness, and Alicia dropped this reminder on her IG with Yung Pueblo’s words.
Sadness is a messenger. It calls attention to where we feel misaligned and doesn’t let us ignore it. The longer we avoid the truths that will inevitably set us free, the louder our sadness is in an attempt to wake us up. Eventually, we find ourselves more willing to risk change than suffer with the same familiar grief.

While transitioning to our most aligned lives may be difficult, we know it’s always worth it. Much like the caterpillar-to-butterfly, we must accept breaking down to blossom into something new. Patience is required, and as we await our next chapter, we can turn to our favorite soulcare rituals to stay the course. The next time you feel down or can’t find your purpose, let sadness motivate you to transform. You deserve to be (and feel) everything you are, so lean in and accept your greatness.
