The stories behind the faces of our skincare-color offerings.
– KEYS SOULCARE
For the drop of our latest (and growing) collection of skincare-color offerings, the Keys team put the spotlight on some of the brightest lightworkers. Everyone let their inner light shine through, on and off-screen, giving us the gifts of their essence. Inspired by the affirmation I own my power, each lightworker spoke to what power means to them and their vision for spreading light and positivity in the world.
Lucia Ingle

A hybrid model-musician with a passion and eye for fashion, Lucia is a rare gem. Born and bred in Brooklyn, the New York native is currently studying at Parsons School of Design and is excited about the opportunity to create a wide range of timeless accessories.
“I always wanted to [design]. One day I woke up and just started. I’m just so grateful for that. [Knowing] that was all me. That one decision changed everything.” Lucia told us how Alicia’s affirmation holds true when it comes to risking it all for our biggest dreams.
“I’m always scared of failure. I love to design and make things. I love to sing and perform. I’m always scared I’m going to mess up. But owning my power is knowing that fear is good for me. And instead of letting it own me, I’m leaning into it.”

Ayanna Brown

Ayanna is the Houston-based creative who is determined to live a full wattage life. Since opening Ayache’s Groove Theory, a vintage clothing shop, at only 15 years old, Ayanna has never let a “no” be a limiting factor.
“Every day, I need an affirmation like [‘I own my power’] to keep myself going and remind myself that despite constantly being told ‘no’ for walking in my purpose, despite the obstacles, and despite seeming like I’ll never get there, I’m one step closer.”
And what does that power look like to Ayanna? “[Power] looks like being unapologetically me. Never conforming. Staying true to myself and knowing I’m going to make a mark on this planet.”

Chris Ndayi

From the eastern lands of Tanzania to the mountainous skylines of Colorado, Chris is a global talent merging his love of the arts to tune into his greatness.
“I was ten years old when we landed in America in Colorado Springs. I’m passionate about modeling, acting, and being creative in general. It’s a cool way for me to express myself.” Chris let the Keys team in on his soulcare practice. “I make music. I’m still exploring, trying to find my sound, but it’s nice to create [music] and feel the vibes.”
Chris’ take on owning his power? “I can be love and happiness, not only for me but for those that see my work. That is what I try to be each and every day.”
