Your favorite daily ritual that’s just for you?
Burning herbs like cedar, sage, or sweetgrass; making my bed; and my skincare routine.
Your dream for the future?
A world where people are able to consciously access the divine parts of themselves. I think there is nothing more important than that aspect of human life.
Your favorite part about yourself?
The capacity I have to hold space for others, my kindness, and my dark humor.
How do you take a moment for yourself?
I like to sit or lay on the floor and close my eyes to give myself a moment to slow down and ground. I also like going on really long walks throughout my neighborhood or watching romantic comedies.
Your personal mantra of the moment?
Whenever I feel myself getting overwhelmed or stressed, I remind myself I am navigating these spaces with spiritual assistance.I often tell myself, “You’re not doing this alone.”
What music, book, and/or podcast are you vibing to?
I have Masego on repeat most days, some oldies like Chaka Khan’s “I Know You, I Live You,” and ambient rain sounds for bedtime. I also just started listening back to “Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday” podcast; I fell off really hard, but I’m back. Reading as a hobby was taken by COVID-19 and it has not returned, still waiting on that to come back lol.
What does beauty look like to you?
Beauty to me looks like freedom, in every aspect — at least that is when I feel most beautiful when I feel free.
