Get to know the youth-powered wellness community that’s helping nurture happy, healthy, and educated youth.
– KEYS SOULCARE
There are many levels to soulcare. It’s a journey that starts from within, but ultimately shines outward to inspire and empower those around us. Just one example of soulcare in action is The HAPPY Org, a community focused on Gen-Z, intersectional wellness, and self-care initiatives. It was founded by teen activist Haile Thomas, a true lightworker, who also grounded her vision in the idea of “3 Keys to HAPPY” — in Haile’s case, unlocking the mental, physical, and soul development of young people.
More than just celebrating The HAPPY Org’s work, we are putting our fandom into action by contributing directly to this incredible organization.
Here’s our chat with Haile about how our partnership came to be and The Happy Org’s powerful, youth-led vision.
What’s HAPPY Org?
Happy stands for “healthy, active, positive, purposeful youth.” We’re a youth-founded and led organization that teaches plant-based and wellness education to young people in underserved communities, all across the country and virtually.
What is its mission?
Providing youth empowerment through holistic education — planting seeds for the upcoming generation to blossom into happy, healthy, nurtured, and educated individuals.

How does running this organization fulfill you?
Something innate to me is making connections between myself and others. Through running The HAPPY Org, I have been able to teach so much that I’ve learned about nutritious foods, self-care, and wellness. I also learn from the young people we work alongside. It’s such a reciprocal experience.

What excites you about working with Keys Soulcare?
Like Keys Soulcare, I also want to redefine and revolutionize wellness education — make it more purposeful, interconnected, and intention-based. I’m thrilled to keep changing the conversation surrounding beauty and expanding the traditional perspective and connection to our souls while nourishing ourselves.
What are you currently working on?
Pretty much all of our programs were in-person prior to March of this year. So, now we’re experimenting with virtual platforms and connecting with students that way — through successful rounds of our Self-Care Summer Camp program and [virtual] school tours.
We’re currently developing an online academy to provide fun, engaging wellness education that exists in spaces beyond traditional school and is accessible no matter where you are or live. We’re also developing mental health tools for resilience, compassion, and more.

What’s your highest vision for yourself?
To impact many young people by providing tools for them to invest in their own self-care and wellbeing — and to see the interconnectedness of their individual wellness, their choices, and how powerful that can be in their immediate and greater communities.
Partnering with changemakers like Haile keeps us constantly inspired. Stay tuned for more updates on how we’re helping The HAPPY Org bring their youth-focused soulcare vision to life.
